Only Connect is dedicated to creating new theatrical work with innovative writers in a process that allows our members to contribute to the creation of the play. Central to what we do are the men we work with, their lives, their stories and the journeys they are on. They are the foundation of all our work. Introducing them to some of the best new playwrights working in the UK today we have been able to develop ideas blending real-life experience with artistic vision to produce theatrical events of the highest quality.
We are based in an old Baptist Chapel in Cubitt Street, London WC1. An historic building with a flexible rehearsal and performance space, it has a distinctive and intimate atmosphere, which has inspired both our members and the theatre-professionals who work with us.

Recent productions have involved collaborations with David Watson, Bola Agbaje, Ben Musgrave, Paula B.Stanic. Currently under commission are Inua Ellams, Andy Day and the composer Kath Gotts, who is collaborating with David Watson on a new musical, THE REALNESS. As well as performances at Cubitt Street we have toured schools and prisons.
